An inquiry might be a good idea if it uncovers some more scandals. A lot of people who voted for Trump last time do not like the guy. His tax cuts for the rich were never popular.

Democrats need to watch the polls on this. If after the inquiry at least 60% of Americans favor impeachment, I think the Democrats should go for it. Congressional Republicans in competitive districts or states will be afraid to vote against impeachment, especially if their districts or states favor impeachment.

Regardless of impeachment, the main Democrat emphasis needs to be on defeating Trump in 2020 and winning majorities in both houses of Congress.

There is nothing that makes me laugh more at this point than seeing Trump supporters and socks crying to claim the things in the whistleblower complaint are unfounded or even hearsay. Most of them have already been proven with the release of the read out and Trump testifying against himself. So that just cracks me up.

But have you guys noticed the leaks seem to be coming every few hours now? And that is because being implicated in the commission of felonies is something that can cut a lot of ties. And sends people running to their favorite reporters so when more evidence of the crimes come out they look like one of the good guys.

I would support any independent investigation. I would also support any subpoenas needed to gather that information except in the case of national security. I will admit that I am not familiar with the specific details of executive privilege however.

I would even support the determination of what information should be redacted to be up to the House no matter how invested they are in impeachment.

I want everything to be out in the open and to get this over once and for all.

I want the American people to see how professional or unprofessional their leaders really are both Democrat and Republican.
