    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    We had dinner with the neighbors, I have no idea what it was but it was damn good. Some beef thin sliced, almost a tandoori style, naan, and spiced veggies all on one plate. Lots of spices and massive flavors. The husband pulled out a bottle he got in Hungary and we all sat and drank, I think I like plum moonshine.

    There was a family birthday to celebrate at my house, so dinner was a 3-rib prime rib roast, mashed potatoes, roasted carrots, green beans, and gravy. I waited too long and took the roast out at 60°; I should have taken it out to rest at 55°. It was closer to medium than medium rare, but other than that it was delicious and perfect, and I’ve got 3 ribs tucked in the fridge ready to make some stock tomorrow.

    But none of that was what excited me. I tried a 3-layer cake (why do I do these things to myself? Why?) and it turned out the nearest to perfect I think an amateur could get it.

    Not gonna lie, I was pretty proud of the result; most everyone thought I bought it.

    Excuse me while I go slip into a coma. Holy cow am I pooped.
