    USA - 13,001 (4.12 per 100k people)

    Or to look at it another way, taking into account the population difference, you are 22.8 times more likely to be killed by a gun in America, than in Australia.

    So... to anyone telling us "outsiders" to stay in our lane... I will absolutely shut the fuck up, the day America has a figure like 0.18 per 100k deaths by guns... Until then... Sorry - I'm not going anywhere.

    Wanna know something terrifying... This past week a 14 year old boy was dragged into a car as he was walking home from school by a bunch of machete wielding teens. They then tossed him out whilst the car was moving, and he is now fighting for his life after going under a wheel. It was an absolutely abhorred act of senseless violence.

    Thank fuck we don't have guns here, huh - those kids could have gone on shooting spree like American kids do.

    Bloody grateful to be an Aussie, let me tell you.

    And know what else? Some guy was shot dead a couple days ago - assassinated. Crime boss. So yes, guns certainly kill people here, just like they do in America. Of course... chances are 22.8 times less likely.

      If you are not part of organised crime... and you do become a victim of gun violence in Australia - chances are you're from a farming district where guns are still readily available and used to enact family violence.

      So - don't be in organised crime, nor in a relationship in Australia.

Did you factor in that in Aus it requires a separate charge and conviction of commission of a gun crime to be counted as a gun crime.......ooooooh wait no you didn't because you let your cheese slide off the cracker again.

      I hate when the US is criticized too. But that aside, the fact that gun violence in Australia is so much lower says a lot. Unless, they just aren't as crazy as we are... that mental illness arguement for controlling gun violence...guns don't kill people, people kill people!

    Gun Owners of America (GOA) secured a temporary restraining order Wednesday against New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s (D) ban on concealed carry.

    The GOA filed their lawsuit in a U.S. District Court against Grisham’s order on Sunday, two days after the ban was announced.

    At that time, GOA executive vice president Erich Pratt told Breitbart News, “Gun Owners of America has filed a federal lawsuit challenging Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham’s gross and egregious violation of the U.S. Constitution. Her claim that there are ‘exceptions to the Second Amendment’ is not only wrong, but it also blows open a huge hole in the Bill of Rights. GOA will not rest until the rights of New Mexicans are restored.”

    For now, the temporary restraining order is an oral order. More coverage on the decision will follow as more information is released.
